Reverse Discharge Status in Care Portal

Question: How do I change a patient's status from Discharged back to Active?

Solution: If the patient was not to be discharged or was discharged in error please follow the following steps:

Select the patient, then expand the PATIENT ACTIONS menu group, click on DISCHARGE link, click the EDIT link in the appropriate admission record, click the calendar control icon to the right of the discharge date field, click CLEAR on the calendar control, then click [SAVE]
The patient is now returned to ADMIT status
