Problem: Receiving a Satellite Forms Load Failure after power off error
Resolution: The problem is directly related to the PDA level password security that is turned on. Disabling the password causes the error to go away. Turning the password on causes the error to come back.
The passwords are set to activate when the device is powered off either manually or automatically. Configure the security to activate after a specific time delay (one hour is recommended). This will reduce interruptions during the entry of an assessment as there should never be an inactivity delay of an hour during an assessment entry. But, after completion of the assessment, while the device sits idle in the car, the security would then activate.
Note: The error can be totally prevented by routinely exiting the software on the PDA when not in use.
