Knowledge Base Article #49:

Unrecognized field name d4 field # notenum

Problem: During sync, received error message "Unrecognized field name d4 field # notenum".

 

Resolution: Go to C:\Program Files\Gold4\VNotes and delete vndata.dbf/dbt and vnotes.dbf/dbt. Run re-index within the Vnotes folder. Sync should work.
